"A Day of Studies at RMTRC Program” was designed in order to achieve the goal of our non-profit that every child and adult in need of this wondrous rehabilitative form of therapy would receive it even if their family’s financial situation and resourcefulness were limited.
The children and adults participating in the program come to therapy as part of their school curriculum or recreational group activity.
On a given year we have an average of nine special education kindergarten, elementary and high school classes from the city of  Eilat and the Arava region, are enrolled in the program. During the thirty week term, over 100 children aged 3 to 18 years and adults ranging in age from 20 to 85 years, spend one morning or afternoon a week at the Center.
The educational and recreational staff  work together with our team of therapists and volunteers to implement the treatment goals of each and every child. Depending on the child’s developmental level and physical ability, the therapy is in an individual or group riding session.
The children also take care of the animals in the petting zoo, receive academic instruction, the older students get to help out with  ranch chores and all of our riders enjoy the outdoor playground and sport areas. The RMTRC non-profit funds the project together with the classes who are responsible for financing the transportation to and fro the center as well as submitting  the family’s minimal participation fee (see the film on our HOME PAGE.)
